Pulitzer Prize


American award for the highest national honor in newspaper journalism, literary achievements and musical composition. Established by Joseph Pulitzer. The first Pulitzer Prizes were awarded in 1917. The prize-winners are chosen by the Pulitzer Prize Board of the Colmbian University.
