Dear Mr. Cheney!

I would like to thank you for your kind words about our country, our people and me. I want to say that I am very pleased to visit officially the Unites States of America upon the invitation of President Bill Clinton and I state that this visit has a great importance for further strengthening of relationships between our countries and people. In my opinion, strengthening of these relationships will play a major role in improvement of well-being of people of our countries and promotion of relationships between our countries.

The economy of our Republic has a very big potential and there are wide possibilities for American businessmen not only in the sphere of oil and gas industry, but in other spheres as well. I stress that it is very important to improve the level of US-Azerbaijan relationships in all spheres. I am sure that as the President of one of the most authoritative corporations of the United States and honorary consultant of US-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce you will expand your activity on tightening of all-round cooperation between our countries. Thank you.

I invite you to visit Azerbaijan.
