Intergovernmental specialized organization of the UN. Established in 1945 during the finance conference in Bratton Woods, USA. Assists economic and social development of underdeveloped countries, Includes nearly 200 countries, also Azerbaijan since 1992.

 

Specialized organization of the UN. It includes the following international financial institutions:

 

- International Bank for Reconstruction and Development;

- International Finance Corporation;

- International Development Association;

- International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes;

- Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency.

 

Azerbaijan closely cooperates with those international institutions.
